reading create task weak 8

we have been learning about the matariki stars and  it has been hard to make a creator task this week because I don't know much about the matariki stars I hope you enjoy it.

  • The girls are then given their responsibilities.

  • It is bad luck if you can not see the 7 sisters.

  • It is good luck when you can see them clearly through the sky.

  • So the sister just needed an important task to do.

  • The matariki has many other names, like the 7 sisters.

  • Matariki is known for the biggest star or the oldest sister and guides her younger sisters to their positions.

  •  The old stories say that when the stars shine the sky will be warm and good for growing crops, And there will be plenty of seaweed together, plants will grow ta;ll and strong.

  • Not all iwis celebrate matariki at the same time.

  • Some might celebrate matariki on the first full moon.

  • A cluster of stars that are near each other.

  • The stars join together to become a pattern

  2. Hi Jayden

I like how you gave me facts about matariki. Maybe when you took the photo of the word search do it in a brighter room. Maybe when you put your stuff on don't leave a big gap.
